Damanhur has a philosophy and a School of Meditation, but does not consider itself a religion. Ethics are very important to Damanhurians.
Damanhur’s practices and beliefs are always subject to research they are doing, and thus, there has been considerable change in this part of life at Damanhur.
Many of Damanhur’s practices are related to the natural world. Ceremonies occur with the changes in the Moon and in the seasons.
Damanhur has seven 'Ways', seven different paths through which to develop as an individual and contribute creatively to community.
